GOLD AGAIN!!!

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the Gold School Games Mark Award for the 2016/17 academic year and for the third year running.
The School Games Mark is a Government led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Sportsability

On Thursday 19th October Miss Edwardes and Mrs Blanchard took 6 children to take part in a Sportsability competition at the Sports Village. The children all had a great time and they were able to try lots of different activities. The children particularly enjoyed the Archery competition.

High 5 Netball

On Monday 16th October the girls Netball team took part in a High 5 tournament at Shrewsbury High School. Two teams played, the older girls got as far as the semi-finals losing by just 1 goal. Both teams played brilliantly considering they have only been to 3 practises and some have never played before.

So a big well done to all the girls that took part.
